During deep drawing mold development and adjustment, we often encounter wrinkles, scratches, tears, uneven wall thickness, and other issues. There are many reasons for these defects, with mold design structure being one of the most important factors. Deep drawn parts & Manufacturing process details
Deep drawing tooling design and making
Clients provide 3D model design in STL format, our engineer converts the STL file into STEP format, then designs deep drawing mold according to the product’s design requirements.
Mold making
Making the mold according to the mold design. The mold is finished within 3 weeks by CNC machining, WEDM, EDM, and assembly testing. The first testing samples are sent for client confirmation in the fourth week.
Deep drawing stamping holes
Most of the deep drawn parts will be finished by 2-3 steps drawing or stamping by different tooling.
Antique bronze plating finish
Deep drawn parts surface finish can be painting, plating and powder coating. For more available finishes we offer in-house, please refer to the “finishes” page.
