Manufacturing process details
Injection mold design
Clients provide 3D model designs in STL format. Our engineers convert the STL files into STEP format, then design the plastic injection mold according to the product’s design requirements, including water cooling, gate type, ejection methods, and Moldflow illustration.
Mold making
Making the mold according to the mold design, using LKM mold base and standard mold accessories. The mold is finished within 3 weeks by CNC machining, WEDM, EDM, and assembly testing. The first testing samples are sent for client confirmation in the fourth week.
ABS Injection molding production
The clients confirmed the first samples (T1 ), gave us some advice and minor changes, then the second mold testing and samples were carried on. Mass production is after receiving the final confirmation from our client and formal mass production order.
Packaging & delivery
12000 sets of ABS plastic molded enclosure and support parts were finished and delivered by sea within 15 days.
